Construction cost continued to increase sharply in March 2011: +3.3% against 2010.

The construction cost index for construction of residential buildings on the new base year 2010 reached 102.1 index points for March 2011, according to calculations by Statistics Austria. The index remained constant compared to the previous month February 2011, but showed a rise of 3.3% in comparison to March 2010.
