According to CEO of Erste Group’s Hungarian affiliate, the bank will remain in the country to expand business activity.

Radovan Jelasity, CEO of Erste Group Hungary, told Reuters that the bank will continue business in Hungary and remain an active and significant financial institute in Hungary. Jelasity told an economic conference that the bank had accomplished take-overs in the recent years, the last one in 2012.
