Car Market Grows Slightly in October
New passenger car registrations increased by 0.7%; the mark of 300,000 registrations has already been exceeded in the year 2011.

According to Statistics Austria, a total of 34,732 new motor vehicles was registered in October 2011, 2.6% more than in previous October and 9.6% less than in September 2011. 28,909 new passenger cars were registered and therewith increased by 0.7%; the share of new passenger cars related to the entire number of registrations was 83.2%.
