In spite of a rainy July, the domestic hotel industry is quite satisfied with the summer season 2011. This is mainly due to the summerly August.

“My colleagues are pleased.”, Hans Schenner from the Economic Chamber (WKÖ) stated. In July, which was relatively cold and rainy, the hotel industry had to suffer a bit. However, in August the weather was optimal for the tourism industry. “In the end, the number of guest nights will be acceptable for us all.” The end of the season should bring a balanced result.
