ÖBB (Austrian Railways) wants to re-launch its foreign markets with local partners. After 2008, ÖBB had to downsize operations abroad.

ÖBB´s freight division RCA (Rail Cargo Austria) runs up its operations in foreign markets. In Italy, RCA´s subsidiary Linea was highly loss-making. Now, RCA aims for getting access to the Trieste harbor. The local logistics company T.O.Delta, which supplies connections to Austria, Germany and Hungary, is said to cooperate with RCA.
