Wholesale price index in August 2010: +5.6% against August 2009

As reported by Vindobona and Statistics Austria, the index of wholesale prices, WPI 2005, amounted to 111.6 (preliminary value) in August 2010 and has increased by 1.4% against last month.

Compared to August 2009 the wholesale prices rose by 5.6%, after 5.0% in July 2010.
