Vienna Public Transport Company Opts for Air Conditioning and Increased Comfort for Passengers
Wiener Linien has recorded a record number of air-conditioned vehicles in its public transport network. According to the company, three out of four journeys on buses, subways, and trams are already air-conditioned. This is intended to make travel more comfortable for passengers, even on hot days.

Particularly noteworthy is the fact that the entire bus fleet and the U6 subway line are fully air-conditioned. The modern Flexity trams and most of the ULFs are equipped with air conditioning.
