The economic outlook for the construction business continues being less favorable than for the overall economy. Only since 2012 is growth expected again.

The building industry’s development in Europe remains subdued in 2011. The Building Research Network "Euroconstruct" expects a further slight decline in building production (-0.1%) in the 19 countries represented for this year.
