Slovenia: Highest Contribution of GDP to ESM

As reported by Slovenia Times, the country has spent 2.8 percent of GDP for the Euro Stability Mechanism (ESM) last year.

According to official figures by Eurostat, Slovenia has contributed the highest share of GDP to ESM of all members of the European Union in real terms. With a total amount of € 972m to the Euro Stability Mechanism, the former Yugoslavian country has contributed the highest share in GDP (2.8 percent) of all EU member states.
