Slovenia: Head of NLB Throws in Towel

On Friday France Ahar, President of the supervisory board of the biggest lender of Slovenia, state-controlled NLB, handed in his resignation.

The reason for Ahar’s stepping down was his disappointment with repeated interference by the policy-makers in the management of state-controlled enterprises.
