The government of the financially stricken country comes more and more under pressure. In meantime, about 17% of the Slovenian loans are classified as “risky”.

For the small country, the problems in the oversized banking sector are becoming more and more unmanageable. In total, the size of non-performing loans is estimated to reach about € 8bn. This was reported by the Slovenian National Bank. According to insiders, the real NPL quota is above € 10bn.
