Tourism in 2010: 0.4% more overnights; all-time-high in number of arrivals.

According to Statistics Austria's latest preliminary data, the calendar year 2010 closed with a rise in overnights by 0.4% to 124.82 million which means the fifth best result since the beginning of statistical records. The main drivers of this development are the increase of guest nights in Vienna (+10.3% to 35.01m) and the augmenting overnight stays of resident visitors, which went up…
