The summer 2010 season ended successfully: the number of guests reached an all-time high record of 17.9 million, 62.5 million overnight stays are the best value since 1995.

There were 62.47 million overnight stays in the 2010 summer season (May to October), according to preliminary results by Statistik Austria. This represents an increase of 1.3% over the summer of 2009 and the best result in overnight stays since 1995 (65.7 million; the best historical result for the summer was 78.28 million in 1981).
