Prosperity Index: Austria´s Position Worsened

This year, Austria ranks 16. Compared to the last evaluation in 2011, the country has lost two places.

The ranking is led by the Scandinavian countries Norway, Denmark and Sweden. In total, 142 countries were analyzed. The Prosperity Index is issued by the London-based Legatum Institute. The evaluated categories are health, security, individual freedom, education, public governance, entrepreneurship and human capital.
