Economic Chamber President Christoph Leitl welcomes the planned extension of the threshold values regulation by one year as an important growth impulse

Awarding of public contracts to companies will still take place easily in 2011. The corresponding threshold values were extended by one year, until the end of 2011, by the Federal Chancellor Werner Faymann. Orders from municipalities for up to 100,000 euro still need no call for tenders. Previously, the figure was 40,000 euro.
