Construction Costs: Continuous Upward Trend

Just as previously, construction prices continue rising in Austria. There is no end in sight for the upwards trend.

In the third quarter, the corresponding index of Statistik Austria was 4.0% higher compared with the previous year's. Compared with the second quarter, construction prices rose by 0.8%. The prices for civil engineering (+6.1% compared with the previous year and +1.1% compared with the previous quarter) had a stronger increase for the first time than that of structural engineering…
