The Polish National Bank (NBP) holds the reference rate at its record low of 2.5%.

As expected by analysts and economists, the Polish National Bank has kept the base rate unchanged. NBP´s governor Marek Belka explained that nothing has changed since the last meeting of the NBP monetary council. In the third quarter of 2013, Polish GDP was up 1.9% year-on-year.
