New Records for Viennese Tourism

In 2011, the Austrian capital registered 11.4 million guest nights, which is a new record.

According to the senator Renate Brauner and tourism director Norbert Kettner, the Viennese hotel industry observed 11.4m guest nights in 2011. Compared to 2010, this is a rise by 5%. Net Revenues are expected to total 446.7m in the first eleven months of 2011 (+9.2%). Due to the favorable conditions in December, a new record is seen for the whole year.
