The Austrian Minister of Economic, Reinhold Mitterlehner considers that the tourism industry has learned to deal with an economic crisis.

For Mitterlehner, the situation in the Austrian tourism industry is not dramatic. In spite of a weak economy and the lack in snow, Mitterlehner states: “Regarding the winter season, we see the coming crisis. But the tourism industry has learned how to deal with that challenge.”
