For The Austrian Minister of Economics, Reinhold Mitterlehner, the sudden cut in Russian natural gas supply is “no dangerous scenario”.

Russian natural gas deliveries are down by one third. The Austrian Minister of Economics refers to large storage capacities. At two gas hubs in Northern Austria, supply is 25% to 33% below the usual level. Mitterlehner: “For Austrians, there is no need to worry. We have large storage capacities.”
