Massive Increase in Wholesale Prices

Wholesale price index in March 2011: +12.1% against March 2010. Cereal and feeding stuff prices almost doubled.

As reported by Statistics Austria the index of wholesale prices, WPI 2010, amounted to 109.4 (preliminary value) in March 2011 and has increased by 0.9% against February 2011. Compared to March 2010 the wholesale prices rose by 12.1%, after 12.7% in February 2011.
