Lufthansa to Bundle Operations

In order to achieve the austerity targets, Lufthansa centralizes operations. Austrian Airlines is highly affected.

The German Lufthansa Group wants to reduce costs by € 1.5bn in 2012. The austerity program also contains the centralization of administration activities of subsidiaries. Purchase activities and controlling departments of Austrian Airlines, Germanwings, Swiss and Brussels Airlines will cooperate closer with the headquarters, Lufthansa announced today.
