The Slovenian public prosecutor´s office investigates the level of non-performing loans at the two biggest banks NLB and NKBM.

According to Slovenia´s Central Bank, the two biggest Slovenian banks NLB (Nova Ljubljanska Banka) and NKBM (Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor) have a non-performing loan volume of € 2.7bn. The biggest shareholder is the Slovenian state. The public prosecutor´s office began its investigations against NLB and NKBM. Vinko Gorenka, Minister of the Interior, did not comment the information.…
