Economy Minister Mitterlehner speaks of a possible moderate increase.

Economy Minister Reinhold Mitterlehner (ÖVP) says, referring to the Mineral Oil Tax (MöSt), "that a moderate increase might be possible",  as part of the budget measures to be implemented. "There are considerations to be made from the viewpoint of the ecologisation of the tax system. The focus however remains on the expenditure side of budget restructuring".
