One of four Austrian firms employs illegal workers from abroad.

In 2010, illegal employment in Austrian business has risen dramatically. According to the Ministry of Finance, demands for a penality against companies, which employ illegal foreigners, have grown by 30%. This year, already 7,872 demands for a penality have been logded. 11,281 illegal foreigners were found.
