The long-awaited meeting between the government and Hypo Group’s taskforce has been fixed to find a solution of the Austrian problem bank. The option of a bank participation is still on top of the list.

As reported by Austrian daily “WirtschaftsBlatt”, Chancellor Werner Faymann, Finance Minister Michael Spindelegger as well as head of the bank’s task force Klaus Liebscher and Govenor of the Austrian National Bank (OeNB) Ewald Nowotny will meet on Monday next week where four models for Hypo will be negotiated on.
