FHB Bank Acquires Stake in Takarek Bank
The largest Hungarian mortgage bank becomes a core shareholder of the Hungarian savings bank Takarek Bank. Takarekbank is an umbrella bank for the Hungarian savings bank sector.

In June 2013, Takarekbank was effectively partly nationalized after the Hungarian parliament approved the acquisition of a 19.3% stake by the Hungarian Post.
