State Secretary on Foreign Relations Peter Szijjarto announced that MAV (Hungarian Railways) starts its biggest investment program since WWII.

Hungary´s government expects a significant recovery of bilateral trade between Hungary and countries in Southeastern Europe. According to observers, Hungary´s initiative may be the foundation stone for a new publicly owned freight company in the railway sector. Szijjarto explains that Hungary´s railway industry will become much more competitive.
