On Monday, Viktor Orban and his leading Fidesz-party have signed the controversial constitutional amendments. The adjustments were signed by 265 members of parliament, a vast majority. Eleven MPs voted against the amendments and 33 abstained. The biggest opposing party, the Socialists, boykotted the votes.
