EU: Austrian Labor Costs Rose Decently

Since 2000, Austrian labor costs rose by 40%. Among the 27 member states, Austria ranks 22th.

Among the EU and Eurozone countries, the highest growth in salaries and wages was observed in Slovakia. Wages and salaries went up by 188% since 2000. Germany recorded the lowest growth rate (+18%). Outside the Eurozone, it was the UK (+8%).
