Czech Railways Considers to Acquire ÖBB-Railjets

The Austrian Federal Railways doesn´t want to exercise its option to buy further Railjets from Siemens.

The Czech Railways (CD) considers to buy 16 „Railjet“ trains from Siemens. The volume of the acquisition amounts to € 177.8m. CD would acquire the trains instead of the Austrian Railways (ÖBB).
