Telekom Austria is facing the purchase of Croatia's fixed-network provider Metronet for the amount of € 100m. However, the bidding process is not complete yet.

The "Wirtschaftsblatt" reports on the possible acquisition of Telekom Austria in Croatia, but two other competitors are also interested in Metronet.

Telekom Austria tries to operate only full-service provider on its markets. In addition to fixed line and mobile telephony, also online services are to be made available. This strategy has been implemented previously only in Austria…
