On Friday the Croatian national bank sold € 240.2m to commercial banks.

The measure was taken to put counter pressure on the domestic currency. Further foreign-currency sales are expected. The Croatian Kuna stood 7.6448 against the Euro, according to the national bank of Croatia. Before the transaction was made the HRK stood 7.66 – 7.67 against the Euro.
