In the first nine months of 2013, FDI continued to shrink. However, the FDI will improve gradually, analysts say.

According to the latest data released by the Croatian National Bank (HNB), foreign direct investments only came at € 531m in the three quarters of 2013. Compared to the reference period of 2012, the FDI value was down to the half.
Ownership investments came at € 300m while retained profits reached € 154m. Other investments amounted to € 76m HNB reported.
