The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is cautiously optimistic about economic growth in CESEE.

In an interview with news agency Reuters Deputy Director in the IMF's European Department Aasim Husain said that economic growth will grow by around 2.5 percent in Eastern Europe this year. In spite of economic recovery of major Western European trade partners countries in CEE and CESEE are lagging behind.
