According to calculations by Statistics Austria, the 60 532 enterprises (+1.6% compared to the previous year) in the entire industry and construction sector turned over a total of € 21.8bn (+15.8%) in December 2010, coupled with a slightly increasing employment (852 150, +0.9%).
