Austrian Companies Expect Stricter Lending Conditions

Credit costs will increase in the coming years, a significant majority of Austrian managers says. As a result, the equity quota of Austrian small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) is growing.

About 75% of Austrian companies anticipate a strong increase in lending costs in the coming years, KSV (Austrian Creditor´s Association) says. According to the study of KSV, only 20% of the respondents expect stable lending costs. 4% of the interviewees forecast lower debt service costs.
