Austrian Business Lending On the Rise

In the second quarter of 2012, business loans were up by 2.8%. By contrast, lending in the Eurozone decreased by 0.6%.

For the first time since September 2010, business lending in the Eurozone was down last quarter.  In Spain, business lending was down by 4.8%. Greece recorded a decrease of 7.6%, lending in Italy was down by 1.8%.
