Austria: OeNB Forecasts Modest Economic Growth

According to the Austrian National Bank (OeNB) economic growth in Austria only came at 0.3 percent last year.

The figure is less than anticipated previously where a growth rate of 0.4 percent was forecast. 2013 has therefore hit rock bottom in the current economic cycle. However, the Austrian economy in 2014 will only follow the path of a moderate economic recovery with growth rates coming at up to 1.6 percent and 1.9 percent next year.
