Only 49 percent of Austrian citizens have faith in the Euro.

The Austrians seem to be divided on the Euro. While two thirds of Austrians are convinced that the Euro strengthens the “position of the European Union in the global economy”, still the majority of persons surveyed is not enthusiastic about the single currency.
