While the global growth impetus was rather restrained in the fourth quarter last year recovery was stronger in the Eurozone. In the last quarter in 2013 GDP grew by 0.3 percent in the Eurozone compared to the previous quarter and by 0.4 percent in the European Union. Growth increased in all major Eurozone member countries, as well as in Portugal.
