Austrian Airlines to Miss Targets for 2011

The Austrian member of Lufthansa Group will not achieve its goal of leaving the loss zone, an executive said on Monday.

In the period from January to June 2011 Austrian Airlines (AUA) incurred an operating loss of € 63m. Other than planned by its parent company Lufthansa, the airline will not be able to achieve the turnaround of its operating result in the full year.
