AUA vs. Emirates: Negotiations Postponed to Fall

Two days of talks have not brought a solution to the dispute about Emirates’ air rights to Vienna. A decision will be taken in fall.

Negotiations between Austria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the flight rights of Emirates Airlines ended today, Thursday, without a result. The negotiating parties had agreed to resume talks in fall, stated Christoph Weidinger, spokesman of the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

An exact date has not been announced. Experts from the airline industry expect negotiations…
