Foreign demand for fruits, vegetables and other products from Austria is growing. Exports went up 21% and amounted to € 2.18bn in the first quarter of 2011.

Exports of Austrian agricultural products showed a clear upward trend from January to May 2011. Their total amount increased by 21% to € 2.18bn in the reporting period, Agrarmarkt Austria (AMA) reported on Thursday.
