Mixed Results for Agricultural Output
2009/10: Good supply with food and animal feed of crops - 7.6% of foreign trade volume is made by agricultural products. Production of wine and cereals decreases, oil seeds, fruits and vegetables rises.

According to Statistics Austria´s supply balance sheets for the past crop year 2009/2010, Austrian agriculture produced about 5.1 million tons of cereal (-11%), 844 800 tons of fruit (+5%), 656 100 tons of vegetables (+4%), 722 100 tons of potatoes (-5%), 326 700 tons of oil seeds (+17%), 3.1 million tons of sugar beet (+0%) and 2.4 million hl of wine (-21%).
