The Carinthian developer of wind turbines has catapulted in just five years to the the position of global market leader.

Windtec is a technology company focusing on the development of wind turbines. The plants themselves however are not built by Windtec. Martin Fischer, the managing director says: "We are responsible for the engineering and manufacture only the brain of the wind turbines".

Sales are already around 115 million euro. Since 2005, the workforce has increased from 17 to 200 people. …
