WIFO: Economic Outlook for Austria Worsens

According to the Austrian economic research institute WIFO, the economic framework conditions indicate a further slowdown.

This year, the Austrian economy is expected to show a growth rate of 0.6%. Next year, GDP growth should reach 1.0%. Against the prior forecasts of June, the estimations were lowered again. IHS is less pessimistic. This year, GDP should grow by 0.8% and by 1.3% next year.
