More than 1.9 million passengers were handled by Austria’s biggest airport in October 2011. Cargo traffic declined by 8.6%.

Vienna Airport reported gains in traffic in October 2011: The number of passengers handled rose by 4.7% year-on-year to 1,914,554. The number of transfer passengers rose by 13.5% in comparison with October 2010, amounting to 633,206 persons.
Maximum take-off weight (MTOW) increased by 0.2%, while flight movements and cargo declined by 0.7% and 8.6%, respectively.
