The Visegrad Four Group (V4), which consists of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, support the creation of a free trade zone between the European Union and Japan.

Only one day before his resignation, outgoing Prime Minister Petr Necas of the Czech Republic announced to journalists in Warsaw that he and his counterparts supported this idea.
