Unemployment Rises by 6.7%
In Austria, the number of unemployed persons rose up to 321,817 in April. Simultaneously, employment reaches a new record level.

251,823 persons were looking for a job in April. Against April 2011, this is an increase by 6.6%. The number of training participants grew by 7.0% to 69,994. In total, 321,817 persons were unemployed. Against April 2011, this is a rise by 6.7% or 20.092 persons.
